Recently Catherine has come under a bit
of scrutiny for her weight loss but she had been appearing in
Broadway show "A Little Night Music" which had lots of dance
routines and a schedule that was bound to make anyone burn a lot of
calories.
In previous diet news, though Catherine was said
to have went on a Weight Watchers style diet to lose all the weight she put on
after giving birth to her daughter Carys.
Weight Watchers is a point based diet. All foods
are given a points value based on their calorie and fat content. For example a
salad is 0 points and a spring role is 5 points.
You're allowed to eat whatever you want just as
long as you stick to your allowance of points. Each person is allowed a
different allowance, depending on their weight, height etc.
Attending Weight Watcher meetings is the best way
to lose weight. Every slimmer there is given a points finder to help calculate
what they are eating and they can also buy recipe books to help them follow a
balanced, healthy diet.
If you stick to this diet properly you should
lose about 1 to 2 pounds a week at most, this helps weight stay off better long
term, unlike a crash diet where you are likely to put any weight you've lost
back on quickly.
