A few guides for recreating some of Carrie's
many hairstyles from the show -

 Color-
A medium brown base, with lots of different blonde shades of high lights and
lowlights, including honey, golden and champagne.
Suits- Oval and heart shaped faces.
Needs - Hair at
least shoulder length.
First tie your hair back into a high pony
tail, flatten any stray hairs down with your fingers. Then comb your hair around
the top of your pony tail and secure it as you go using Kirby grips. When your
finished keep it in place with a liberal spray of strong hold lacquer.

 Suits
- Oval and heart shaped faces.
Needs - Hair
with some natural movement and body.
Blow dry your hair using a round brush
lifting up the roots, for a bit of height, then flicking out the hair at the
bottoms. When your hairs all dried part it in the middle and put in your hair
scarf, you can get loads of Carrie style ones from Claire's Accessories.

 Suits
- Almost every face shape.
Needs - Long
hair, that has some natural body.
This look needs lots of volume and body so
use a volumising shampoo such as Charles Worthington Big Hair Shampoo,
then follow it with Charles Worthington Big Hair Mousse. When your hair
is almost dry but still a little damp put in some heated rollers, or use tongs.
(If your using tongs use all different sized ones for a more natural, romantic
look.) Once all your hair is done shake it out and run your fingers through it,
don't brush. you'll ruin the curls. Finish with some hairspray.
