Julia Roberts Make-Up  

Julia's go-to make-up artist Genevieve Herr gave a few of her Julia's 2010 Golden Globe award look secrets away to Elle Magazine.

Lancome Teint Miracle Natural Light Skin Perfector, in Buff 7W, is use to give Julia's skin a healthy, non-heavily made-up, look.

The eyes drew all the attention with this look; Genevieve came Julia a smoky combo of purple-and-black, applying shimmery amethyst eye shadow to the lid and inner corner.

Julia's usual mascara is Lancome Definicls Mascara - which she uses even off-duty.

NARS Cream Blush is applied up and along the cheekbones for a colour boost.

No lip colour is mentioned but Genevieve recommends lining the lips to help your lip colour stay put, stop feathering, and define shape.

Try a creamy soft pink lipstick, with a matching shade liner.

Here is a guide for an old but good look of Julia's from a People's Choice Awards where she had her make-up done by Laura Mercier

First a matte base was created a using Laura Mercier Foundation Powder, £30, then  a healthy glow was added by applying Crushed Hazelnut Cheek Color, £16.50, to the cheekbones.

For the key feature, her eyes were first plied with Buttercream Eye Color, £14 which was taken over the lids and into the socket line. Then Cake Liner, £16.50 was built up to create a wonderful winged effect. Two generous coats of Thickening Mascara, £15 were then applied and her LA brows were defined using Brow Powder Duo, £18.50

A subtle lip color finished off the look, as a strong color would've just clashed with her eyes and made her look old-fashioned. she used Lip Colour, in Just Lips, £14.50
