Julia's
Hair Style History
Natural Color - A dirty-fair shade of very
dark blonde/brown (see left - Julia as a little girl, sporting a long and
natural but still nice and shiny style)
Dabbles with Color - Julia has tried out
just about every shade and color possible, from golden blonde to darkest brown.
Julia has said, "My re al
hair color is kind of a dark blonde. Now I just have mood hair."
Signature - The curly style she wore in
Pretty Woman (right) is probably her best known look but in more recent years
we're used to seeing Julia as a deep, glossy brunette or sunny blonde.

Golden
Curls - Seen at the 2004 Oscars
Suits
- Almost any face shape.
Color
- A warm golden blonde.
To get this style wet your hair,
then when it's about 90% dry wrap large sections of your hair around medium, to
large sized Velcro, or hot rollers, until all of your hair is covered.
Once dry remove the rollers and
gently separate the curls with your fingers, don't brush them through, as you
don't want to ruin the curls.
Once you've put your hair into a
centre shed and are happy with your style, lightly mist with some hairspray.

Updo
- Seen at the 2002 Oscars
Suits- Heart and Oval shaped face
Good for- Girls with naturally wavy hair
Color- Auburn
Styles like this shouldn't look too perfect so
run some wax through your hair to give your curls a messy appearance.
Twist your hair up into a messy do leaving a few
tendrils lying loose around your face. For Julia's look tuck your hair into a
French plait and leave the ends loose.
Finally to get more defined curls around your
face, like Julia's take one tendril at a time and coil the hair around your
index finger, then to make sure the curls stay in place spray them lightly with
some lacquer.

To get this style Julia tamed her naturally curly
tresses and wore them nice and straight for a night.
First wash your hair, then apply a straightening
balm. Now blow-dry your hair and use a large round brush to turn the hair out a
little at the bottom.
Make a side parting and use a barrette, like
Julia's to keep your hair out of your face. Finish off with a liberal spray of
Charles Worthington Shine Shine Shine Spray to get Julia's glossy look.
