Catherine wore a wig in the movie but you can still create the look for yourself. Start with a jaw length bob, that has a long, slightly graduated fringe that you can sweep to the side. Velma's hair is very shiny, that's her key look, so start by washing your hair with some high shine shampoo. Then blow-dry your hair with a round brush turning it under at the bottom slightly. Once your hair is dry apply some shining serum to it then run some Straighteners over it. Then you'll have ultra sleek, super shiny hair.

First wash your hair and then when your hair is about 90% dry put in some hot rollers, small, thin ones preferably, place them all the way round your head going right up to the top of your head.

Once all your hair has been curled brush your hair gently, running your fingers through would be best though, as you don't want to ruin the waves you've just created.

When your done give your hair a liberal spray of lacquer.
