Lea Michele Diet and Body Tips

Talking to Women's Health Magazine in the June 2010 issue Lea revealed her health and body tips, here's a few extracts and highlights -

"Lea is more interested in being healthy than striving to a specific dress size. She stays in shape by tackling the trails in picturesque Runyon Canyon."

She also works out with trainer Devon Butler and another thing that keeps her fit - starring in Glee. Work on the show includes 14-16 hour workdays and lots of dance routines and practice.

It's also revealed Lea likes organic and vegetarian food and is a fan of the Kind Diet - a book by fellow veggie star Alicia Silverstone (you can check it out at amazon.com).

And some of the tips from the mag -

Lea likes Bikram Yoga - poses and breathing exercises done it a heated studio. Something which helps her remain calm during red carpet season.

A typical breakfast for Lea - Steel-cut oatmeal made with soy milk, or a tofu scramble. "I'll add a piece of salsa or avocado," she said.

Cut Back on Coffee - A former coffee addict, Lea said she detoxed but it was difficult. Now she allows herself a cup in the morning and if she needs a lift later she goes for Yerba mate - a healthy herbal drink.

For snacks Lea goes for fruit, carrot, celery and hummus. "I don't really like nuts, so I get my protein from tofu and black beans," says Lea.
