Jennifer Lopez Diet & Body Tips  

 

 

After having twins and now in her forties, Jennifer's body is still one of the most envied in Hollywood (even becoming Venus's first global ambassador thanks to her fab legs).  Jennifer always had an incredible body but it didn't come back without work.

She trained with Tracy Anderson (also trainer to Gwyneth Paltrow and Madonna) and worked hard while eating healthily to get into shape.

Tracy tailored a routine for Jennifer to suit her body and her lifestyle, she said: "J-Lo is one of those women with a crazy schedule so with these moves she was working her entire body at once.

"Giving people exercises that can help them to achieve a lot in a short time makes them more inclined to do them regularly."

And Jennifer has said: "I work out nearly every day." 

 

Jennifer's Diet  

 

Jennifer says: "I try to watch what I eat.  I know what's good for me and try to stay away from the bad things.  Like anybody, I indulge once in a while.  I don't ban anything from my diet and I'm not one of the health freaks who believe in not eating any sugar or leaving dairy products out."

She also added:  "There are a number of weird diets out there but I don't follow them, I eat almost everything, only in moderation."  So if you've read anywhere Jennifer follows the grapefruit diet, Atkins, Zone or anything else, it's probably best not to believe it.

For drinks, Jennifer stays away from caffeine, she says:  "I'll have a little decaffeinated coffee because I don't like to drink caffeine.  I like Penta Water, it's oxygen flat."

A typical lunch for Jennifer is chicken or turkey (high protein, low fat) she says: "I'll have anything from a grilled turkey sandwich to a salad to chicken breasts for lunch."

Sugary snacks are mainly off the menu for Jennifer, she says: "I'm not a big snacker but when I don have them, I will just have a piece of fruit or raw carrot and celery."
