Beyonce Knowles Diet and Body  

 

Beyonce caused quite a scandal when she revealed how she lost 20lbs for her role as Dina in Dream Girls, she admitted to going on a liquid diet.

The diet reportedly consisted of water mixed with maple syrup, lemon juice and cayenne pepper. Her maple syrup concoction was said to replace her meals for a few days.

Pros - Followed correctly there is no doubt there would be weight loss but it's also great for clearing out the body's system and cleansing it of any toxins.

Cons - Even Beyonce herself does not advise anyone trying out the diet, exclaiming she only did it for the movie. Medical experts also advise that trying the diet for longer than 12 days could lead to fainting, and, in the worst cases, even hospitalization, due to the lack of energy and essential nutrients in the diet.

Beyonce once admitted to snacking on very little and said she has small lunches that consist of six slices of tomato and four slices of cucumber.

She also says she has to work out like crazy to her her stomach flat and her other curves in check. Among her favoured exercises are running and yoga.

It's also said B has a personal chef who travels around the world with her wherever she goes, and is always on hand to prepare low carb meals when Beyonce gets hungry.
