Face Shape - Each hairstyle comes with a list of the face shapes it works best on.  If you're not sure of your face shape the best way to work it out is stand in front of a mirror, hair pulled back and away from your face, and using a lipstick or felt pen (one that will wipe away) go around the outline of your face's reflection.

Match the rough shape you're left with to either Square, Oval, Heart, Round or Long.  Heart, of course, won't be like a heart but is wider at the cheekbones than the forehead going into a narrow chin and jaw-line.

The Right Shade of Red Lip

Red lips always bring a touch of uber glam sex appeal to any look whether they're just teamed with jeans, or paired with a glam dress for a full-on bombshell look.

Picking the right shade, though, is essential.  Here's a quick guide to help you pick the right colour for you -

Pale Skin - True Classic Red is perfect with pale skin, no matter what your hair colour is.  Avoid dark wine reds, unless your going for a gothic or vampy look.  The paler the skin, the more of a true red shade you can wear.

Cool Skin Tones - Blue-Red will compliment cooler skin tones.

Medium - If you have a very pinky complexion, plummier shades are better.  Avoid the orangey and gold-toned reds.

Warm/Tan/Olive Skin - Bright reds go great with warm skin, not many other types can pull it off without looking like a clown.  Brown and orange based reds are great but avoid wine shades.

Black Skin - This skin color can pull-off almost any type of red, it just depends what type of look you want to go for.  Daring and bold opt of bright, orangey-red; but for a more subtle look, opt for a plum-based shade.

 Brow Shapes

Getting the right shape of brow can completely transform your face but it's essential you get the right shape of brow for your face. Check the face shape guide above to help find the perfect brow for you.

Heart - Don't go for sharp brows, soften the arches to help soften the features. Pick a higher arch to create a longer long to the face.

Long - A straight brow shape is better for long faces as it helps create width and creates a shorter illusion.

Oval - The classic face shape is best suited to the classic brow shape.

Round - A higher arch is best for round faces to help create more shape and length. A thin/medium width brow is usually more flattering that a heavy brow.

Square - A thicker shape balances out the strong jawline. Full, thick brows are easily pulled off by square-shaped faces.

Triangle/Diamond - Go for a soft curved brow and avoid long, straight brows. You want to avoid making the temple area of your face looking wider.
