Just as much an icon as Marilyn, Madonna donned the look for
her 1985 Material Girl video. Madonna's version of the dress was
originally made for TV movie Norma Jean, and was then rented to Madonna.
Other pop stars who've sent up Marilyn's look are Kylie
Minogue who donned the look on tour; and much later Nicole Scherzinger who opted
for a more hot pink look while performing Diamonds Are A Girls Best Friend.
  
Marilyn had always been the idol of Anna Nicole Smith and
she got to dress up as her idol for PETA; she had also appeared on the cover of
Playboy in the look too.
Fellow bombshell, Barbie, donned Marilyn's look for a
special collectors edition of the doll.
And, proving it's not just for blondes, in one of the
latest versions, Lea Michele, wore the look while appearing in publicity for the
Madonna Glee episode. The latest MM pink
dress-alike: Blake Lively in the look for the 100th episode of Gossip Girl.
