Lauren's hairstyle had the waves
and curls seen in many '40s hairstyles but the part in hers
showcased and complimented her face perfectly.
While hair is still damp apply a
setting lotion to help the style you're about to create hold in
place.
Create your parting - unlike many
of today's styles, Lauren's part is long, straight and precise, so
use a fine comb to get it right.
Pin curls are necessary for
Lauren's look but not too many. One on each side at about ear-level
should be about enough.
Pin-curls in place, now apply
large rollers to the length for Lauren's soft curls.
If you are using hot rollers,
mist hair with some heat protectant spray before hand. Ideally
though, you should use normal rollers and keep them in all night for
a truly lasting style.
Once hair is completely dry,
remove the rollers, gently brush them through and complete with a
good amount of hairspray. |
