According to an interview back in 1965, Marlene said
"everyday when she wakes up, she goes and stand in front of her window, breaths
deeply and, if she has the chance, lies flat on her back, hands at her sides,
and rides bicycle in the air - which keeps her calf muscles taut."
Obviously, Marlene kept in good shape right up until her
death and probably did a little more than that with a sensible diet too, but the
cycling is also good for the knees and shaping most of the legs.
