Needs - Long hair, unless following
version 2.
Best For - Hair with a natural slight
wave as it gives more texture to the style
Create a slight part at the front and leave
some hair loose to frame the face while pulling the rest back
Collect the hair at the back into a ponytail,
slightly to one side of the nape, and plait it into a loose braid,
securing at the end with a transparent band.
With the braid complete, wrap it up over the
head, pinning into the scalp with bobby pins as you go.

Version 2 - Buy a thick braided
headband, such as
the Sephora Collection Thick Braided Headband, and pin it to
you head the same way as you'd pin up a real one, putting your own
hair into a bun at the back.

Seen At - The ESPY
Awards in July 2011
Still playing up her shorter
locks, Brooklyn rocked this cute low-maintenance look for the ESPYs.
First up for achieving this
style, it requires some volume so a good dose of volumising mousse into damp,
freshly-washed hair is a must.
Blow-dry with a round brush, using it to
create height at the roots but getting the ends straight isn't too necessary -
Brooklyn's have a slight beachy-looking wave.
Once dry, create a messy parting and gather
some hair to pin at the back for a slight bouffant look.
Finish the whole style with a light mist of
hairspray.

Seen At - The 2011
Country Music Awards in April
Brooklyn took the brave choice
of lopping 10 inches off her locks back in March, and her move paid
off, Brooklyn looking super pretty at the CMAs.
For a cut like Brooklyn's take
a picture to your hairdresser to show them exactly what you want.
When it comes to styling,
blow-dry with a round brush - using it to create shape and body.
If you've got hair that's
usually quite flat, first apply a volumizing product for a bit of a
boost.

Suits
- Most face shapes, expect long
Color - Golden Blonde with a few
lighter sections and highlights
Seen At - An event in February 2011
For Brooklyn's pretty-glam
look first spritz some texturizing spray over the lengths of damp
hair as it will help curls to hold later.
Create your parting and
blow-dry hair to create smoothness and a little height and body.
To create the curls, use some
medium-sized curling irons, wrapping sections of about 1-2 inches,
up to about brow height.
If you usually have problems
making your curls last, try pinning them up after curling 0 this
will allow the curls to cool and will help them keep shape.
Once the curl creating is
complete, run your fingers through to break up and define them -
don't brush them through!
Finish with a mist some
strong-hold hairspray over the curls, another step which should help
them last all night.
