naturally curly hair, which is thick and has loads of

Color- Honey Blonde
To get this look you'll have to go to the
hairdressers and get a layered bob, to maximise texture. Then once its washed a
short blast with the hair dryer is all it needs. If you want a more choppy
finish get some flat heated irons, such as
Morphy Richards Mark hill Kick It, to break up the ends of the hair and make it
kick out like Keira's.
Follow
with some
John Freida Tousled Tresses Texturizer,
a texturising wa in fab mist form, which will create a broken up piecy finish.

Scarlett had her natural-looking wavy Oscars look created
by Frederic Fekkai hairstylist Duffy.
He began by applying
Fekkai Advanced Full Blown Volume Styling Whip
to towel-dried hair, working it in from roots to ends.
The hair was then dried with
Fekkai Classic Brush (a natural boar
bristle brush) to create the textured effect this look requires.
Fekkai Full Blown Volume Lifting Hairspray
was applied to the roots and
Fekkai Coiff Oc?nique Tousled Wave Spray
was spritz towards the nape of the neck.
Using a 1.5 inch curling iron 2-3 inch sections of hair
were wrapped around the barrel, leaving the ends out.
For an added volume boost, a hairdryer with a nozzle
attachment was used to blast the roots.

Waves were broken up and separated with the fingers and the style was completed
with a mist of
Fekkai Coiff Sheer Hold Hairspray.

For natural curls, apply a little anti-frizz
product and blow-dry using a paddle brush to straighten out the
length. Take sections of hair and wrap
around some large-barrel curling irons. Do this
randomly, leaving some ends loose so that the result looks more care
free.
Just a smidgen of
John Freida's Tousled Tresses Fine-Mist Wax
is a great product for breaking up the ends and adding a little more
texture.

Color - Scarlett's colorist Lorri Goddard-Clark
said of Scarlett's new shade: “I mixed one color for her scalp area and a
lighter version of that for the rest of her head. I then added fine brownish-red
lowlights throughout and put subtle highlights on her ends so that they don’t
look too inky.”
Style - This might be an easy style for this with
natural, subtle waves to achieve but if you don't have this style naturally,
follow the guide for Scarlett's 2011 Oscars 'do (below) but with a centre
parting instead, for a more sophisticated look.

- Mid brown with some honey and dark blonde high lightsSuits - Most face shapes
Best For - Mid-Length hair
and if you've got some help to pin up your curls
Begin by blow-drying damp or wet
hair using a round brush to create some volume at the crown and roots.
Loosely tong the hair then pull
it into a low ponytail at the back. Begin twisting hairs up and then pin or clip
them into place. It's fine if this isn't the neatest hair style ever - Hayden's
look was slightly messy but still ultra glam.
Finish with hairspray to keep
everything in place.

Cheryl's look as of late-2009 when she
ditched her long extensions in favour of this fresher tousled look.
Color - Dark Brown
Suits - Most face shapes
To style this look needs lots of texture so
add some volumising mousse or spray to the roots of damp hair.
Apply to medium-large sized velcro rollers,
rolling up to the roots for volume. For some extra curl and kick at the ends you
might also want to use a curling iron to curl some sections - holding the tongs
for about 10 seconds to lock the wave in place.
Once dry, gently remove the rollers and
secure your new waves and curls with hairspray.

First, create your curls using a medium-large
hot-rollers, taking them right up to the roots. Don't worry
about trying to get a perfect finish to them, since they'll be
getting pinned up anyway.
After creating your curls, collect all your hair
and tie it in a high ponytail - don't make it too tight though, you
still want volume and movement at the roots.
Take sections of the ponytail and loosely pin them up around the
base ponytail, and onto the back of the head. Again,
don't worry about trying to get a perfect finish. You can see
in Gemma's pic she has a few loose sprigs and ends.
Once you're happy everything is secure, finish with a light mist of
hairspray.

 Suits - Heart,
oval and square shaped faces.
Color - A
brown base with lots of lighter and golden streaks.
Good for - Hair with a natural
wave.
This is a simple
ponytail but it has a little bit of a twist. First blow-dry your hair, using a
volumising spray, or mousse, to add a bit of height.
Once its dry back comb the hair at the crown a little bit, so its got some
height, and spray on some lacquer to keep it all in place.
Tie your hair back now, into a pony high
at the back of the head and use
a little band to secure it. To give your pony a bit more of a wave you could
apply so styling mousse and scrunch your hair with your hands.
This look shouldn't be too perfect so
don't worry about any little frizzes.

The Look -Beachy waves
Seen At - The July 2011premiere of Harry Potter and the
Deathly Hallows Part 2
For this pretty look, start by working some
styling
mousse onto damp hair.
Blow dry two-inch sections with a round
brush, using it to add some movement and subtle shape through the
length.
Taking sections of about two-inchs again, mist
with styling spray then loosely wrap the ends around a medium-large-sized
curling iron.
Hold the curls in the irons for a few
seconds to help them set, then release and move onto the next
bit.
Don't be too fussy when creating the curls
- they don't
all have to be perfect or going in the same direction - they
should look lovely and natural.
Finish by running your fingers through
your hair to break up the curls a little; then apply some
hairspray for hold.

Styles like this shouldn't look too perfect so
run some wax through your hair to give your curls a messy appearance.
Twist your hair up into a messy do leaving a few
tendrils lying loose around your face. For Julia's look tuck your hair into a
French plait and leave the ends loose.
Finally to get more defined curls around your
face, like Julia's take one tendril at a time and coil the hair around your
index finger, then to make sure the curls stay in place spray them lightly with
some lacquer.

up-do was created by Tresseme stylist Mara Roszak, who gave Talking Make-Up a
quick guide on recreating Mila's look.
First run some
Tresemme Naturals Mousse to wet hair and rough dry it before creating
a parting on one side.
Use a one-inch barrel curling iron to wave the hair away
from the face. Separate the waves by running your fingers through them.
Pull the hair on the larger side of the parting out to
sweep over one eye and tuck the ends over the ears.
Pull the rest of the hair back into a loose chignon at the
nape of the neck, keeping it in place with some hairpins.

Finish the look with
Tresemme Naturals Finishing Spray which should provide the style with

For this look begin with natural curls or waves;
or create your own by blow-drying then using a 1-2 inch curling iron
in alternating directions on your hair.
To style, create a deep side-part and sweep your
hair across the front.
Tie your hair into a medium-low ponytail at the
back but leave some sections loose at the side like Lea.
Twist the length of your hair up and into a loose
bun around the base of the ponytail and pin into place - if a few
pieces sprig out that's okay, this isn't meant to be a pristine
look.
Now style your loose section with your fingers,
and if you feel you need to, use the curling irons to create so
extra waves.
Finish with a mist of strong-hold hairspray to
secure.

Best For - Naturally
wavy hair
For Kristen's awards style
what you want to do is bring out and enhance any natural wave in the
hair.
Apply some texturising spray
into the roots and throughout the lengths, scrunching with your
hands and fingers.
For hair that struggles to
hold curls, products like
Frederic Fekkai Wave Spray
and
Salt Water Sprays are great.

Let hair dry naturally before
creating your centre part and pulling it back into a ponytail at the
back of the head. Allow the hair around the face to fall free
for a softer finish.
This look should be kept as
natural and simple as possible so try to lay off the finishing
products, maybe applying just a light touch of hairspray if you need
to.

but instead of straightenening them out, they were enhanced and
refined for this look with a touch of
MoroccanOil Light before being blow-dried with a

Extra refinement was added
with a one-inch barrel curling iron wrapped around random curls.
Jonathon then sprayed on
MoroccanOil Glimmer Spray and raked it through her hair
with his fingers, breaking up her hairline.
Gathering the hair back, he
pulled it into a side ponytail that pinned into a loose bun.

Frederic Fekkai Sheer Hold Hairspray was applied; then,
the finishing touch: a flower adornment from Jennifer Behr.

For this look it's better to start with hair that
isn't freshly-washed, so it's great style to try if your hairs a
little greasy rather than just putting it into a pony.
Needs - Long hair, unless following
version 2.
Create your centre parting, and pull your hair
back, leaving some optional face-framing tendrils at the front.
Collect the hair at the back into a ponytail,
slightly to one side of the nape, and plait it into a loose braid,
securing at the end with a transparent band.
With the braid complete, wrap it up over the
head, pinning into the scalp with bobby pins as you go.

Version 2 - Buy a thick braided
headband, such as
the Sephora Collection Thick Braided Headband, and pin it to
you head the same way as you'd pin up a real one, putting your own
hair into a bun at the back.

Anna was styled by Frederic Fekkai hairdresser
Renato Campora for TV's glitziest award show.
To her wet hair he applied
Fekkai Full Blown Volume Styling Whip
to the roots as well as some
Frederic Fekkai Coiff Perfecteur Anti-Frizz Silkening Creme.
Renato blow-dried, not with a brush but with his
fingers.
Once completely dry, he used a ½ inch curling
iron and set the hair into pin curls.
After 15 minutes to set and cool, the pin curls
were removed and Renato ran his fingers through the hair to loosen
and create shape.
Next, the hair was pulled back into a high French
twist, revealing the nape of her neck, and it was secured with bobby
pins.
For volume, the hair at the crown of her head
was loosened instead of being slick and sleek, resulting in a
softer, yet more glamorous style.
For the waved look at the crown, Anna had a
very subtle band, go for it or use a ribbon or head band of your own
color choice. If opting for a ribbon, help keep it in place
using two hair pins in an cross shape connecting it to the head at
the nape of the neck or behind your ears.
Finish with some hairspray; Anna's look was
completed with Fekkai Advanced

Best For - Mid-length or layered hair

Color - Dark Brown
To get the look tong your hair all the way
around, doing it by about one-inch sections at a time.
Now take your curls (leaving a few loose at
the front) and use hairpins to grip them up into a bun. This is a glam look but
not too precise or fussy, it's okay if a few parts are a little messy or loose
as the bun doesn't need to be really neat.
Finish with a good spritz of hairspray.

For this look it's best to start with hair that isn't freshly-washed
as it will hold a lot better when a little dirty.
Apply some texturising spray
into the roots and throughout the lengths, scrunching with your
hands and fingers to add or enhance natural body and waves.
Create a slight part on which
ever side you prefer, then on the smaller side, create a French plait
going down past the ear and round to the back of
the head where you can pin it into place.*
Leave a few tendrils loose

creating the plait into this) below the plait.
Twist
the ponytail up into a tight bun, using a few more pins to keep it in

Once you feel everything at

feel they need a little more wave, taking one at a time, spray on
some more texturising spray and wrap around your finger or use a

" I don't actually use a lot of product! I style it with

and I might use some
Elnett Hairspray
to keep it all together."
The tools he uses - "blow-dryer, round brush, curling

He also says when you what a certain style : "bring

make it a rocker haircut though. You need to style it as a rocker too."

Looking at Nina's roots in this style, it
looks like she gave her hair a break from the constant straightening and let her
natural waves give this look some added texture.
If you've got straight hair, start by
applying some texturizing spray to your hair while it's damp.
Brush your hair back and slide on an Alice
band of your choice - Nina went for a simple black one to blend in with her
hair. The band some smooth down the front, and push the hair back to
create some volume behind it.
Gather the hair into a high ponytail at
the back of the head, not pulling too tight so as to leave the volume behind the
band still there.
Now for the glam curls, if you don't have
natural curls, use a medium-size curling iron to add some ringlets to the length
of your ponytail, then take those newly-created curls and pin them up randomly,
looping some over and using hair pins that closely match your natural hair color
to secure them.
Finish with a touch of smoothing balm to
take care of any frizzy hairs on the top or side of your hair and complete the
style with a good amount of hairspray to hold everything in place.

Attending a pre-Super

messy-but-pretty style.
To get this look,
create a parting of your choice, then gather your hair at
the back into a ponytail, but don't secure it at the top.
Pull the ponytail to

The key for this style

Marisa has left lots of hair loose for movement, and to

Use some medium-large sized
curling irons to create the waves. Lindsay's curls are in
various widths and go up to different heights so do try and get
every curl perfectly the same.
Once you've created curls
you're happy with, use a little shining texturizer to separate your
waves.
