keeping the hair in a forward direction and close to the head.

With the back
and roots taken care of, work the hair at the front into shape.
Apply some

Suits - Most face shapes but especially ovals
When Victoria got her hair cut into the short, edgy style
it was cut will while dry, which gives the style a different finish to hair
that's cut when wet.
Her stylist Ben Cooke began by sectioning off the top and
front part of her hair and give the bottom an under cut to follow the shape of
her head, so it would be very tapered.
The top section was then sliced with thin scissors.
This style gives Victoria a super stylish looking cut
everyday but she barely ever has to touch it up, as it just naturally falls into
place.

Seen At - The Elle Style Awards in February 2011
Color - Mid-brown with lots of lighter golden brown
highlights
This event was just one day after the Bafta's look, below,
so is the exact same cut but with a very different look.
If your hair is
straight, you can style it like this by wetting with
water or a gel for the slick-ness, combing and creating a side-parting to style.
For hair that's a little more unruly, first blow-dry,
using a frizz-ease product, then follow the above steps to get Emma's fab look.

Color
- A mid brown base with lots of golden brown highlights
Suits - Oval shaped faces
Best For - Naturally straight hair
To get this look you should simply be able to ask your
hairdresser for a "pob" and if there as style savvy as they should be they'll be
able to give you this look no problem.
To style blow dry your hair straight using a round brush
to add some volume at the roots, this style can look very bad if left flat.
Run some straighteners over the length and ends for
Victoria's sleek look. To get some extra shine like hers also apply some shine
enhancing spray, such as
Gucci Envy Scented Hair Shine Spray ,
which Victoria would surely love.
Finally create a slight side parting and position your
hair over the sides of your face to create Victoria's narrowing look.

Suits - Most face shapes but avoid

Color - Golden Blonde
Seen At - The 2006 Golden Globe
Awards
This style of bob is great for fine,
straight hair; the one length and no layers have add the illusion of thickness
and weight in the hair.
To style, add some volumising mousse, such
as
Dove Body & Bounce Volumizing Mousse, to
freshly-washed hair and blow-dry with a large round brush - boosting the roots
and bobbing under slightly at the ends.
Create a side-parting on the side of your
choice.
Tuck one side behind your ear and smooth
down any frizzy parts with some smoothing balm.

For this cut, which was described as a
modern-day Michelle Pfeiffer in Scarface bob, print
out the pic or get one from a magazine to show your hairstylist
exactly what you want.
Rose
had her awards look created by John Frieda hairstylist Harry Josh.
To get sleek, straight hair, Harry first
applied
John Frieda Full Repair Lift Foam to Rose's hair to give it a
lift and he then applied
Full Repair Perfect Ends Deep Infusion to the ends to ensure the
hair would look healthy from root to tip.
Using a natural bristle brush, he blow-dried
Rose's hair section by section, angling the dryer downwards to get
maximum shine.
Velcro rollers were also used to make sure the
hair curled under slightly at the ends.

This look is quite bold to go for, especially
if you're not sure whether you'll suit a fringe but the length of this fringe
means you should be able to clip it back if you're unsure about how it looks.
Color - Dark Chestnut Brown
Best for - Straight hair unless
you're happy to straighten this style everyday or else have a curly fringe.
To style apply some hair polish (Silk
Elements Glossing Polish
should help add gloss and shine) into damp hair then blow-dry - use a large
round brush if you'd prefer a bit of bounce or a paddle brush if your after a
straighter look like Cheryl's.
For Cheryl's perfectly straight and glossy
look you might also want to finish by using a flat iron.

Suits - Most face
shapes
This is a great layered cut
that's flattering on most face shapes; to get the look print out
this picture or take one from a magazine to show your hairdresser
exactly what your looking for.
Styling Kelly's sleek layered
look, you should apply a little smoothing balm to damp hair; then
blow-dry using a mix of round and paddle brushes.
Create a part on the side of
your choice and use the round brush to boost some height into the
roots, slightly curling under your face-framing layers too; use the
paddle brush to straighten the lengths.
If your after an extra-sleek
finish run some ceramic straighteners over the length and ends too -
this will also help add some shine.

to style and straighten your bangs as often as is needed
For this look it's best to
start off with a shoulder length bob and some eye skimming bangs.
To style apply some
anti-frizz serum to damp hair then blow dry with a small round, or flat brush.
Once dry run some
straighteners over the ends and on your bangs if you feel you need it. For super

Miranda is fairy low-key
when it comes to her hairstyles, and often leaves her her simply
down, or puts it in a bun during the day.
Seen backstage before a
David Jones fashion show, Miranda showed off a perfect neat bun.
Best For -
Straight hair. If you've got curly or wavy hair you might want
to straighten or blow-dry before trying this sleek look.
How To - For this
look, unlike most, you don't need freshly washed hair - this style
actually works better with hair that's a little bit greasy,
otherwise you can use water or gel.
First, create your
parting, Miranda's is slightly off centre. Brush your hair smooth of
any kinks, tugs, or bumps at the crown then pull it into a low pony
tail at the back of the head and secure with a band to match your
hair colour.
Wrap the pony tail up
and around the elastic band, securing with pins (again matching your
hair colour) as you go. You might find it easier to twist the
ponytail while wrapping - some find it stays put easier.
When you reach the end,
tuck the final part of your pony tail in, or underneath the rest of
the bun - again, securing with a pin if you need to.
Finish with a good dose
of hairspray.

This is one of the easiest looks to get but it's hard to
maintain if your hair is curly, or even wavy, as it requires straightening every

straight.

2009 Cannes Film Festival Natasha’s sleek up-do is fairly simple if
you've got naturally straight hair; apply some frizz ease serum
and just slick your hair back into a high
ponytail and secure.
For naturally curly or wavy hair, however, follow this
guide guide -
Applying some straightening Balm to the length
of the hair and blow-dry using a flat paddle brush.
Spray on some heat protection spray*, again
only to the length, then use a straightening iron for Natasha's
super sleek look.
Gather the hair into a high ponytail
and secure with an elastic band.

creating the ponytail but it's just down to whatever you find
easier.

this pic to show your hairdressers, or ask for a haircut with a

length and the longest, just below the shoulders.
To style, this requires a super
straight finish for Taylor's edgy look.
Apply a frizz-ease serum to damp
hair and then blow-dry with a paddle brush.
To finish, run some straighteners
over your hair.

the hair. Point the hairdryer in a downwards direction to keep
the hair flat and smooth on the head, not sticking up.
Spray some heat protection spray only to the length
of the hair and run some straightening irons over for Heather's super sleek look.
If you've got bangs like Heather, or some
face-framing layers, sweep them to one side before gathering the
rest of the hair back into a ponytail, securing it with a band of
your choice.

Suits - High foreheads. Best on oval or

Sandra's
stylist David Babaii began by applying a small amount of
Couture Colour Pequi Oil Treatment to Sandra's hair while it was damp hair.
He blow-dried her hair straight with a paddle brush, then
sectioned the hair, separating the bang area, then sides, and the back.
Starting at the nape he applied a little more Couture
Colour Pequi Oil Treatment to each section then used a flat iron to make the
hair completely straight (David used IT&LY HAIRFASHION’S Digital Flat Iron).
When it came to the bangs, he bang area, he turned the
iron slightly under to create a soft cupped affect.
Finish the ultra-shiny look off, he applied some more of
the oil to his hands, warming it slightly and running it over the top of the

Lea's hair is naturally curl but she went sleek and straight
for her appearance at the Grammy Awards in 2010.
Needs - Long bangs, or short layers around the face.
The style calls for high shine and no frizz so begin by
applying some frizz-ease serum to freshly washed and still damp hair.
Blow-dry using a large paddle brush. When completely
dry if you have any kinks left, run some straighteners over them - this will
help add shine too.
To style, create a side parting then adjust your fringe or

Finish with some hairspray, again to add shine, and to reduce
frizz or flyaways.

The Look - Sleek long layers
Color - Dark brown with a few subtle
highlights of golden and chocolate browns

Blow-dry with a paddle brush to straighten the
hair, and ever so slightly cup the long layer or your bangs under (a
round brush works better for this part).
If you still have any kinks when the hair is all
dry, just run some ceramic straighteners over them.
The look should be complete but, if you like, you
can finish with a mist of shine spray for an extra glossy look.

Seen
- At the Scream 4 Premiere in April 2011
This look is fairly simple if you have
straight hair: slick the hair back into a high ponytail, using a little gel or
balm to smooth down the hair on top of the head.
Wrap some of the ponytail
around the hair band to cover it.
Finish by running some
straighteners over the length of the ponytail for an extra sleek
finish if you feel you need it.
For curly hair, blow-dry the
hair with a paddle brush and some frizz-ease products before
following the ponytail-creating steps above.

Many people are lucky enough to
have Gwyneth's sleek Oscar style naturally but for curly haired girls it can
take a lot of work.
First wash your hair and apply a
de-frizzing serum once you've towel dried.
Now blow dry your hair using a
large paddle brush and work right down to the ends of the hair.
Once everything is dry you might
have to use some straighteners to smooth out any stubborn kinks. Ceramic
straighteners are best and will help give an extra bit of shine.
Finally create a slight side

bring the other side to the front and let it sit naturally.
