For Kirsten's pretty and glam
look create a deep side-parting.
Use some medium-sized curling
irons wrapping sections of about 1-2 inches up to just above ear
height. Try to let the curls cool as it will help them hold
better.
Take the front section of the
side of the parting that has most hair and curl it higher than all
the others. It's a simple little touch that really amps up the
glamour.
Finish by tucking one side
behind your ear then mist some strong-hold hairspray over the curls
to make sure they don't start to drop.

Best For - Medium and
Shorter Hair Lengths; longer hair will struggle to hold the curls
Looking glam on the Cannes red
carpet, Karolina sported this curled 'do.
To get the look, work a little
styling gel into wet hair and, if you need to, blow-dry with a round
brush, using it to create a slightly off-centre parting and a little
volume at the roots.
Creating the curls depends on how
much time you have - rollers will give a longer hold but the process
will also take longer. If you don't have time for that,
curling irons are your other option.
Take sections of about two inches
at a time, spraying each with some styling spray before wrapping up
to forehead height*, once the curl has been created, if you have
time, pin it up until the whole head is done as this will allow it
time to cool and last longer.
Most styles will tell you to run
your fingers through the curls to break them up a little but you
need to avoid that with this look.
With all curls created, give the
whole head a good amount of hairspray for better hold.
*For Karolina's curls, wrap
your hair closely together around the roller or curling iron barrel
for her tighter curl look, and also try to hold the barrel vertically so the curls tumble down.

Good For- Long hair
To get this look apply
John Frieda Frizz Ease Serum, to towel
dried hair then dry with a diffuser.
Section off your hair ear to ear and use a small curling iron to create a
mass of tumbling ringlets around your face. Twist the back section of hair
into a tight tube and secure with a bobby pin.
Tong the ends and finish by raking some wax through your hair to break up the
curls, then randomly pin up some tendrils, so just a few hang around your face.

For Kate's glam look, first create a
side-parting.
Use some large-sized hot rollers, wrapping
sections up to just above ear height - take quite large sections of
hair at a time rather than small sections, otherwise you'll end up
with a more corkscrew curl look. Try to let the curls cool as
it will help them hold better.

The Look - Side-swept curlsTo recreate Milla's glam look, first
apply some styling mousse or serum to damp hair before blow-drying with a round
brush to add a touch of height and body.
Set the hair with rollers, pointing up
and away from the face.
Once the hair has cooled and curls have
set, remove the rollers and create a deep side part on the side of your choice.
Whichever side has the least amount of
hair, sweep around behind the neck and over the shoulder, using some crisscrossed
hair pins to keep the style in place.
Let the curls on the other side fall naturally, and finish
by misting the look with some strong finishing spray.

Color - Dark Coffee Brown, probably
very close to Jennifer's natural color
Suits - Heart and Oval face shapes
Best for - Medium length hair, it
will be trickier to pin up your curls if you've got very long hair
To get this look you first need to give
the roots and crown a bit of volume, use a round brush and some styling mousse
and work in a little height. Create a side parting and make sure you remember
not to leave out the back of the crown, you don't want it to be flat.
When your happy with the top begin to curl
your hair using medium sized tongs. Go around your whole head but only take the
curl just above earl level and leave the top straight.
Now use some bobby pins or kirbies,
such as
Hollywood Bobby Pins ,
which match the color of your hair closely and take sections of your curls to
pin up underneath. The amount to take and where to place them all depends on how
long your hair is, so you have to decide what looks best on you.
When you've finished pinning up the curls
use the tongs again, this time to take a small section of hair from the front
and working is a large wave, like Jennifer has coming from her parting. Finally
use some hairspray to keep everything in place.

Dita likes to use hot barrel tongs to create her curly
look, she says they create just the right amount of volume for creating the 40s
look, she loves so much.
For this look you should apply some styling mousse to your
hair after washing it.
When the hair is completely dry tong all your hair but
only go up to just above the ear, leaving the top of the hair straight.
Back comb a little at the roots and crown for an extra
little bit of volume and finish with a liberal spray of the classic

January's hairstylist for the event, Mark
Townsend, began by applying mousse to January's wet hair then blow-dried it.
He created her side-parting and spritzed
on some heat protection spray before wrapping sections around a medium-sized
curling iron - going up to about eye height.
The curls were pinned to the head to allow
them to cool and set.
Once released, he brushed through the
curls and finished January's styles with lacquer spray for extra shine and hold.

Don't completely dry your hair, leaving it
5-10% damp and use large hot rollers, rolling your hair up and under to get

For the 2010 Oscars Cameron opted
for an old-Hollywood style hairdo but gave it a fresher more modern look.
Her hairstylist, Loni Vigi used
some Liquid Professional Volumizing Catalyst spray before blow-drying to give
some volume and oomph. A round brush was also used whilst drying to add some
body and bounce.
Once it was almost totally dry
the hair was sectioned and curled using large hot rollers.
So Cameron wasn't left with lots
of strong curls or ringlets the hair was brushed through to soften them.
To show of her beautiful
strapless
gown Cameron's hair was swept over to one side, and a liberal spritz
of
L'Oreal Paris Elnett Satin Hairspray
finished.
Vigi used the
Velecta Paramount Professional 4000I Hair Dryer .

The Look - '40s Femme Fatale

For Eva's glam awards look, first apply
some gloss-enhancing spray, such as
L'Oreal Paris Vive Pro Glossy Style Smooth Gloss Serum, through
damp hair.
Create a side-parting and place clips where you
waves - on the larger side of the parting one should go above the
end of the eyebrow, and one at about cheek length for Eva's look.
Tuck the other side behind the ear.
To create the curls use a large-barrelled curling
iron, taking quite thick sections of hair for a non-ringlety look.
If you have the time and patience, pin the curls
up to let them cool and set for about 10-15 minutes, which should
ensure longer lasting style.
Finish with a mist of hairspray.

anti-frizz product, and volumizer to Natalie's hair before blow-drying it with a
round brush.
The hair was then curled in large sections
using a 1-inch barrel curling iron.
The bottom layers of the hair were gently
back-combed so the style would have hold; then the hair was swept to one side
and secured with bobby pins.
Fekkai Sheer Hairspray was then applied

Start by applying some volumising gel onto

Apply a little smoothing serum through the
length and blow-dry using a large round brush to create some volume and
movement.
Use a medium/large-sized curling iron or
some hot rollers to create Dianna's curls - taking large sections of hair at a
time, rather than smaller sections or you'll end up with a more permed,
corkscrew curls look.
Let the curls cool and set, then brush
through gently to smooth them out a little.
To create Dianna's half-up, half-down
look, create a side parting and use a few pins, or something gorgeous and glam
like Dianna's leaf clip, to take the section above the ears on each side up and
back and keep it held in place.
To finish use a little more of your
smoothing serum to take care of any frizzes or loose hairs. Pull a few of
the curled sections over your shoulders and finish with some hairspray.

Creating her sexy VS runway waves, Erin had the
curls created with the aid of volumizing hair spray and curling
irons.
Once the curls were created they were pinned and
clipped up to help them set - otherwise her hair might have got a
little flat by the time she was on the runway.
After
cooling (you should allow at least 10-15 minutes). Erin's hair
was brushed through - but not too hard as it would have ruined the
curls.
The hair was well sprayed with hairspray to
ensure lasting hold too.

This
look has a lot of healthy shine, so first apply some shine-enhancing
and heat-protectant products into freshly-washed hair.Create a centre part and
blow-dry using a paddle brush - avoid using a round brush as that
could give this look a little too much height.
After blow-drying use some
curling irons to create the gorgeous ringlets. Take wide
sections of hair and hold the iron vertically as you wrap the hair
around - going up to about ear-height. Hold for about 15
seconds before releasing.
Once you've curled all the way
around, brush the hair at the top and sides of the head smooth and
gather the hair from either side at the centre of the back of the
hair, securing with a grip of your choice; it can be as plain or as
fancy as you want.

Color - Blake briefly went with this red
hue while filming a movie. Blake's colorist Rona O'Connor
layered the color rather than going for one solid shade.
Several shades of red were layered over each
other, Rona said: “I like to see lightness on top—flecks of golden
tones and bright coppers—with darker reds underneath to create
depth.” She said: “I kept the reds
rose-gold and coppery so that she can easily return to blond after
she wraps the movie.”
The Style - For these flowing, Hollywood
waves, first blow-dry the hair with a round brush for a smooth,
volumous base. Once almost totally dry,
create a side parting, and curl sections of about 2-3 inches up to
about brown height, using either large hot rollers or curling irons
- whichever you prefer.
Once curled all the way around, break the curls up a
little with your fingers but do not brush it through.
Complete with a good amount of hairspray all
