 Suits - Heart,
oval and square shaped faces.
Color - A
brown base with lots of lighter and golden streaks.
Good for - Hair with a natural
wave.
This is a simple
ponytail but it has a little bit of a twist. First blow-dry your hair, using a
volumising spray, or mousse, to add a bit of height.
Once its dry back comb the hair at the crown a little bit, so its got some
height, and spray on some lacquer to keep it all in place.
Tie your hair back now, into a pony high
at the back of the head and use
a little band to secure it. To give your pony a bit more of a wave you could
apply so styling mousse and scrunch your hair with your hands.
This look shouldn't be too perfect so
don't worry about any little frizzes.

- Best for oval faces
Seen At - The September 2010 Premiere of Tamara Drewe
Gemma kept it low-key for her
premiere, going for a simple but glossy ponytail look.
Creating this style should be
simple if your hair is naturally straight but if not, applying some
shine-enhancing balm or serum and blow-dry - especially at the
roots.
Make a slight centre parting
then gather the hair into a ponytail that's just above ear height -
it was nothing flashy for Gemma to secure it in place; she used a
band that matched her hair color.
You don't have to worry about
the ends of the ponytail - Gemma's hair is mainly smooth but she
does have some slight waves and curls in her ponytail.
Finish using some smoothing
serum to go over any frizzes or flyaway hairs at the roots, sides
etc.

For Penelope's volumised ponytail look, apply a
little volumiser at the roots and back brush for that extra height
her style has.
Gather all the hair back and secure in a hair
ponytail at the back of the head.
The style is simple as that but, for an extra
touch of glam use a round brush or straighteners to slightly cup the
ponytail under for a more finished look.

Best For - Naturally
wavy hair
For Kristen's awards style
what you want to do is bring out and enhance any natural wave in the
hair.
Apply some texturising spray
into the roots and throughout the lengths, scrunching with your
hands and fingers.
For hair that struggles to
hold curls, products like
Frederic Fekkai Wave Spray
and
Salt Water Sprays are great.

Let hair dry naturally before
creating your centre part and pulling it back into a ponytail at the
back of the head. Allow the hair around the face to fall free
for a softer finish.
This look should be kept as
natural and simple as possible so try to lay off the finishing
products, maybe applying just a light touch of hairspray if you need
to.

Styled by Frederic Fekkai's Adir Abergel, Jessica first
had
Fekkai Coiff
Bouffant
Lifting & Texturizing Spray Gel applied from the roots to the ends of
her hair and Adir used his hand to tousle the style.
Once dry, he used a large-barrelled curling iron, taking
it from the roots down, in medium-large sections for till the while head was
complete.
For an extra touch of texture,
Fekkai Coiff Oceanique Tousled Wave Spray was spritzed on.
Letting the waves set, he then backcombed the brown and
tied the hair at the back into a loose ponytail leaving some pieces loose at the
front to frame her face.
The style was completed with a mist of
Fekkai Sheer Hold Hairspray.

2009 Cannes Film Festival Natasha’s sleek up-do is fairly simple if
you've got naturally straight hair; apply some frizz ease serum
and just slick your hair back into a high
ponytail and secure.
For naturally curly or wavy hair, however, follow this
guide guide -
Applying some straightening Balm to the length
of the hair and blow-dry using a flat paddle brush.
Spray on some heat protection spray*, again
only to the length, then use a straightening iron for Natasha's
super sleek look.
Gather the hair into a high ponytail
and secure with an elastic band.
*You might prefer to do this step after
creating the ponytail but it's just down to whatever you find
easier.

Here's
a guide to the glam ponytail look Jessica wore at the CNN Heroes
All-Star Tribute in November 2010.
Suits - Most face
shapes
For this look begin by
creating a centre parting, then at the crown, backcomb the hair a little for
that bit of volume and height Jessica has.
Once you're happy with the
parting,
use large barrelled curling irons, or big-sized hot rollers
to create the bounce that will be in the ponytail. Take large sections of
hair at the time (you don't want a pony of lots of different curls) - going only
up to about jaw length.
Use a band that matches
your hair color to secure the ponytail low at the back of your head.
If you have layered hair,
or some pieces short enough at the front, work a few pieces loose to frame your
face - curling them at the bottom too.
Finish with hairspray.

Quinn's other signature - her
Cheerios ponytail.
To get the look, apply some
frizz-reducing mousse or serum to the top of your hair and the
roots.
Brush your hair smooth and
tug-free then pull into a high ponytail at the back of your head.
Secure with a band of your choice.
Take sections of your ponytail,
about four centimetres at a time, and use a curling iron to add just
a little movement and bounce to the bottom.
Finish by gently running a brush
through the pony to bring the curls together so your not left with
ringlets. (Don't brush too hard as it might create some bumps at the
roots.)

The Look - Ultra sleek ponytail
Apply some smoothing serum
on balm to the hair, from root to tip.
Blow-dry using a paddle brush to straighten
the hair. Point the hairdryer in a downwards direction to keep
the hair flat and smooth on the head, not sticking up.
Spray some heat protection spray only to the length
of the hair and run some straightening irons over for Heather's super sleek look.
If you've got bangs like Heather, or some
face-framing layers, sweep them to one side before gathering the
rest of the hair back into a ponytail, securing it with a band of
your choice.
Smooth down any little frizzes with hairspray,
gently dabbing them down with your fingers.

The Look - Glam, bouncy ponytail

Out for the launch of her
fragrance, Kim sported a face-framing clip-in fringe.
For this look, comb your hair
back into a sleek ponytail - for Kim's exact look, run some
straighteners over the length for her polished finish.
When it comes to the bangs, various brands make
clip-ins but
Ken Paves and Jessica Simpson's Hairdo.
range clip-ons are probably some of the best out
there.
The Hairdo.
clip-on bangs have three pressure
sensitive points that you simple have to press on. They come

Going for a ponytail but, not one of her usual
sporty on-court looks, this one is sleek and groomed.
For this look apply a little volumising mousse
around the hair line and into the roots at the very top of the head.
Blow-dry using a round brush to give height at
the hairline, straighten out the lengths and add a touch of bounce
at the bottom.
Smooth the hair back, keeping the sides flat but
still with volume at the top. Secure into a ponytail.
Finish the look with a touch of smoothing balm
over the sides of the head to remove and frizz or fly-away hairs.

The
Look - Flirty,
volumous ponytail
Seen at - The Captain
America premiere in July 2011
For this gorgeous look, your
hair needs to have a lot of volume. Apply to volumizing mousse
while it's wet then blow-dry using a large round brush.
Use the brush to section of
the hair at the front, and add some waves to the length at the back.
Once dry, back-comb the hair
behind the front section, giving it some oomph. before securing into
a high ponytail at the back.

For an extra flirty touch, use
some curling irons to add a little extra kick to the loose sections
at the front.
Finish with some strong-hold
hairspray - especially on the volumized section - try to leave the
ponytail and loose tendrils free though, as they should have a
little movement.

Irina has two go-to hair looks -
down or up in a ponytail. Here's a guide for her up-do look:
Some people have hair that is
naturally right for this still so, if you do, just skip the first
step.
Apply some volumising mousse
to damp hair, then blow-fry with a large round brush, using it to
boost root volume and add some movement to the ends.
Once dry, smooth the hair back
(leaving one long section at the side loose - it should be about 2
inches wide) and gather it into o a high ponytail at the back of the
head, securing with a discreet band.
Take the section you left
loose and wrap it up and around to cover the hair band, tucking into
place at the end.
Top Tip - Don't make
the ponytail too tight because it can cause some damage or breakage
at the roots - especially at the front of the hairline.

For Mila's simple yet very sexy awards look, first apply
some smoothing balm or serum to damp hair.
Create your parting and blow-drying using a medium-sized
round brush.
Create some curls using a small-medium sized curling iron
- taking the curl up to about chin/jaw length.
Pull your new curls into a low ponytail at the back of the
head but leave a little loose to tie up and cover your ponytail-securing
elastic.

If you feel your ponytail is too curly, run your fingers
through the length to break the curls up a little, but remember they will
probably drop a little over time.
Finish the look with some shine-enhancing lacquer.

Suits
- Most face shapes
Seen - September 2010, during New York
Fashion Week
Starting with freshly-washed hair, towel-dry till it's
damp, then spritz on some shine spray.
If you've got wavy or curly hair, blow-dry
with a paddle brush for a smooth base, but if your hair is straight
you can probably skip this part.
 Create
a part right down the middle and set to creating those tumbling
curls. Use medium-large sized curling irons - wrapping them up
to about ear height and away from the direction of the face.
Let the curls cool as you go so they will have better hold.
Once you've curled all the way around, gather
the hair into a low, loose ponytail at the back of the head, leaving
a small amount loose at the front to frame your face.
This style is very soft and free so avoid
using too many products on it. If your hair struggles to hold
curls, though, just spritz a light mist of hairspray over them and
don't ever brush them through - if they need broken up a little, use
your fingers.

Look - Ultra-glam ponytail
Apply some frizz-reducing mousse
or serum to the top of your hair and the roots while damp.
Blow-dry straight and once
completely dry, brush your hair smooth and

securing with a band of your choice.
Take sections of your ponytail,
quite large, thick ones at a time*, and use a medium-large sized curling iron
wrapping it up the length of the ponytail.
If you want the curls to hold,
allow them to set and cool.
Finish by gently running a brush
