Suits - High foreheads. Best on oval or long
shaped faces.
Begin by applying some frizz-ease serum to hair while it's
damp to help add shine and reduce frizz, of course.
Blow-dry the hair straight using a large round brush to
add some volume at the roots, slightly turn out the ends, and cup the fringe
under.
Running a ceramic straightening iron over the lengths will
also help add shine and create Emmanuelle's super sleek look but if you feel
your result from blow-drying is already straight enough, it's not essential.
Applying a little smoothing serum is another great
finishing touch which will help add shine and will take away any frizzes.

This is one of the easiest looks to get but it's hard to
maintain if your hair is curly, or even wavy, as it requires straightening every
day.
Ask your hair dresser for a shoulder length cut, with a

To style straighten if your hair is curly, or blow-dry
straight.

The Look - Side-swept curlsTo recreate Milla's glam look, first
apply some styling mousse or serum to damp hair before blow-drying with a round
brush to add a touch of height and body.
Set the hair with rollers, pointing up
and away from the face.
Once the hair has cooled and curls have
set, remove the rollers and create a deep side part on the side of your choice.
Whichever side has the least amount of
hair, sweep around behind the neck and over the shoulder, using some crisscrossed
hair pins to keep the style in place.
Let the curls on the other side fall naturally, and finish
by misting the look with some strong finishing spray.

Color - Honey blonde base with
lighter baby blonde highlights throughout and framing the face.
Best For - Thicker hair; fine hair
may not hold the volume and height so well unless it's very dry or helped with a
lot of hairspray.
Start with smooth, kink-free hair
and section off the part at the front so you can work on the top to creating
Jessica's beehive-like volume.
On the back section, backcomb the
hair from the roots upwards using a fine toothed comb.
Once you have the volume gently
smooth down the hair, gather at the back and pin it up with some hairpins or

Smooth the front part of hair into
your desired place and cover the whole style, especially the bun, with lots of
hairspray to hold everything in place.

January's hairstylist for the event, Mark
Townsend, began by applying mousse to January's wet hair then blow-dried it.
He created her side-parting and spritzed
on some heat protection spray before wrapping sections around a medium-sized
curling iron - going up to about eye height.
The curls were pinned to the head to allow
them to cool and set.
Once released, he brushed through the

The Look -Beachy waves
Seen At - The July 2011premiere of Harry Potter and the
Deathly Hallows Part 2
For this pretty look, start by working some
styling
mousse onto damp hair.
Blow dry two-inch sections with a round
brush, using it to add some movement and subtle shape through the
length.
Taking sections of about two-inchs again, mist
with styling spray then loosely wrap the ends around a medium-large-sized
curling iron.
Hold the curls in the irons for a few
seconds to help them set, then release and move onto the next
bit.
Don't be too fussy when creating the curls
- they don't
all have to be perfect or going in the same direction - they
should look lovely and natural.
Finish by running your fingers through
your hair to break up the curls a little; then apply some
hairspray for hold.

Best For - Most face shapes
For this look begin with natural curls or waves;
or create your own by blow-drying then using a 1-2 inch curling iron
in alternating directions on your hair.
To style, create a deep side-part and sweep your
hair across the front.
Tie your hair into a medium-low ponytail at the
back but leave some sections loose at the side like Lea.
Twist the length of your hair up and into a loose
bun around the base of the ponytail and pin into place - if a few
pieces sprig out that's okay, this isn't meant to be a pristine
look.
Now style your loose section with your fingers,
and if you feel you need to, use the curling irons to create so
extra waves.
Finish with a mist of strong-hold hairspray to
secure.

The
Look - Glam Hollywood
Curls
Seen At - The 2009 Met
Gala
For the star-studded event, Liv
was styled by David Babaii.
To create the style, David used
FHI HEAT Large-Barrel Curling Irons.
He created a side parting, just
above the highest point of Liv's eyebrow. He then sectioned
the hair into four sections - top, nape, and one each side.
Before curling he spray some of
his
Volcanic Ash Root Lift onto
each strand, then, after curling, he would pin each curl so it would
have better hold.
Once the curls cooled, the pins
were removed and the hair was brushed through with fingers.
David finished by tucking one
side behind the ear then spraying with

Taylor's
hair stylist Fred Vandebunt
told Teen Vogue -
" I don't actually use a lot of product! I style it with
heat and let it cool down to set it. Too many people think they need to style
hair with product, and lots of it. For Taylor, I sometimes put a little
Bumble and Bumble Thickening Spray
on the roots to give it a little lift, seal the ends with some silicone,
and I might use some
Elnett Hairspray
to keep it all together."
The tools he uses - "blow-dryer, round brush, curling
irons, wave iron, straightener, and hands."
He also says when you what a certain style : "bring
pictures!! A picture says more than a two-hour conversation. That still doesn't
make it a rocker haircut though. You need to style it as a rocker too."

The
Look - Femme Fatale Waves
Seen at - The 2010 MET Gala
For this look it's best to start with a smooth,
shiny base so apply some anti-frizz cream to damp hair and create a
side-part. Section off the front section of the larger side of
the part and wrap it up around a large roller - the hair should be
wrapped up facing the side, rather than the front.
Blow-drying using a brush on the rest of the hair
to smooth out the lengths.
Once dry, tong the rest of the hair, taking large
sections at a time and wrapping them around the barrel vertically -
letting each cool after creating.
Remove the roller and position your hair into
style, sweeping all the hair over to one side; using a little
smoothing balm on the other, tucking it behind the ear.
This style looks product-laden but it shouldn't
be; try not to use any hairspray unless you really feel like you'll
need it.

Use the brush to section of
the hair at the front, and add some waves to the length at the back.
Once dry, back-comb the hair

a high ponytail at the back.

For an extra flirty touch, use
some curling irons to add a little extra kick to the loose sections
at the front.
Finish with some strong-hold

For this look it's better to start with hair that
isn't freshly-washed, so it's great style to try if your hairs a
little greasy rather than just putting it into a pony.
Needs - Long hair, unless following
version 2.
Create your centre parting, and pull your hair
back, leaving some optional face-framing tendrils at the front.
Collect the hair at the back into a ponytail,
slightly to one side of the nape, and plait it into a loose braid,
securing at the end with a transparent band.
With the braid complete, wrap it up over the
head, pinning into the scalp with bobby pins as you go.

Version 2 - Buy a thick braided
headband, such as
the Sephora Collection Thick Braided Headband, and pin it to
you head the same way as you'd pin up a real one, putting your own
hair into a bun at the back.

- Golden Blonde with some subtle baby blonde highlights
For this funky up-do look, first
apply some styling cream onto freshly-washed and towel-dried hair.
Blow-dry straight with a large
round brush, creating just a little volume at the roots.
Once dry, create a side
parting above the arch of the eyebrow on the side of your choice.
Section off the hair that you
want to curl up at the top of your head, then gather the rest at the
back to create a tight French roll, securing it with bobby pins.
Unclip the sectioned off part
of hair and now pin it up into a shape like Paris's, using your
fingers as a guide, and using a few more bobby pins to keep this
part in place.

blast of hairspray, using it not only for hold but also to dab down
any fly-away or frizzy hairs.

The Look - '40s Femme Fatale
Seen At - The 2011 BAFTA Awards
For Eva's glam awards look, first apply
some gloss-enhancing spray, such as
L'Oreal Paris Vive Pro Glossy Style Smooth Gloss Serum, through
damp hair.
Create a side-parting and place clips where you
waves - on the larger side of the parting one should go above the
end of the eyebrow, and one at about cheek length for Eva's look.
Tuck the other side behind the ear.
To create the curls use a large-barrelled curling
iron, taking quite thick sections of hair for a non-ringlety look.
If you have the time and patience, pin the curls
up to let them cool and set for about 10-15 minutes, which should
ensure longer lasting style.
Finish with a mist of hairspray.

For this look it's best to start with hair that isn't freshly-washed
as it will hold a lot better when a little dirty.
Apply some texturising spray
into the roots and throughout the lengths, scrunching with your
hands and fingers to add or enhance natural body and waves.
Create a slight part on which
ever side you prefer, then on the smaller side, create a French plait
going down past the ear and round to the back of
the head where you can pin it into place.*
Leave a few tendrils loose
around the face but gather the rest of your hair back into a low
ponytail (*incorporate any extra length you might have after
creating the plait into this) below the plait.
Twist
the ponytail up into a tight bun, using a few more pins to keep it in
place.
Once you feel everything at
the back is secure, move back to the loose tendrils. If you
feel they need a little more wave, taking one at a time, spray on
some more texturising spray and wrap around your finger or use a
medium-large curling iron to boost the shape.

For this style it isn't essential to have super
smooth hair, it looks good with waves an texture too; but if you
have natural curls and want Nicky's total look, first apply some
silkening balm and blow-dry your hair straight with a paddle brush.
Create a centre parting and gather your hair at
the back, dividing into two equally sized low ponytail sections, one
behind each ear.
Plait each ponytail and pin them up and into the
scalp, over the top of your head like Nicky.

The tricky part is getting the ends of each to
look like the merge together - it's best to use hair pins that
closely match your hair shade for this, placing them in a
criss-cross shape over the ends.
Use hairspray lacquer to help and shine and keep
the style in place. You can also use it to help dab down any
frizzy or stick-out hairs.
Shorter
haired girls can cheat their way to this style with the help of
