Best For - Again, this
works better for natural curls or waves.
Color - Very dark brown
Seen At - The 2006
Screen Actors Guild Awards
Another of Halle's cropped
looks; this one is a little shorter but still with enough length to
allow the hairs curls to show.
For Halle's hair type, this is
a simple style to create. Run some wax through the hair with
your fingers, while it's dry, separating the curls and adding some
definition to the natural curls.

Best For - Naturally
curly or wavy hair - this look can sit quite flat if your hair is
naturally fine or straight.
Color - Black-Very Dark
Brown with lighter brown ends
Seen At - The January
2011 Golden Globe Awards
Halle rocked her usual short
hairdo at this year's Golden Globes but added a little extra glamour
with some flicky curls.
The cut is a short razor cut
which is great for wavy to curly hair because the texture from the
curls provides movement to the style.
Halle's hair is naturally curly
so requires little product to create them but for her flicked-up
look, apply a little sculpting mousse or spray, then taking some
random one-to-two inch sections wrap them up, over your fingers and
they should take the right shape. You can also get the same
effect using hot rollers, allowing them to cool and set so the curl
will hold.

Color
- A mid to dark brown shade, with a rich golden overtone.
Suits - People with good features and people who
have the confidence to carry it off.
For this style take in a picture of Kate and show your
hairdresser what you'd like.
To style you'll need to add a little height, as this look
won't be good, if it's flat. Add some volumising cream or mousse to damp hair
and run it through. Blow dry using a round brush and really lift at the crown.
Once dry arrange your hair into a style you're happy with,
leaving some choppier pieces over your forehead and tucking a little behind your
ears, to achieve Kate's cute look.

2010 Academy Awards
For Carey's cut, print out these pics, or take
some from a magazine to your hairdresser so they know exactly what
you're looking for.
To style apply some a light spritz of
texturizing spray to damp hair and blow-dry with a paddle brush,
keeping the hair in a forward direction and close to the head.

With the back
and roots taken care of, work the hair at the front into shape.
Apply some
smoothing balm to take care of any frizzy or stick-out hairs.
Finish with a
light mist of hairspray to keep everything in place.

The Look - Gamine Crop
Seen At - The 2011 BAFTA Awards
Color - Mid-brown with lots of lighter golden brown
highlights
If you're confident enough to go for a crop like Emma's
take a picture of her style or the exact look you want to show your hairdresser
exactly what you're looking for.
When it comes to styling, blow-dry the hair forward at the
front and down at the sides with the nozzle pointing down to keep the hair flat
rather that sticking up.
Emma's hair has shine and sleekness yet doesn't look hard
or wet to the touch. To achieve this look apply a product such as
Umberto Giannini Sleek and Chic Serum Gloss.
You can also smooth down any unruly or fly-away hairs
dabbing them down with just a touch of hairspray.

Color - Platinum Blonde
Suits - Most face shapes but especially ovals
When Victoria got her hair cut into the short, edgy style
it was cut will while dry, which gives the style a different finish to hair
that's cut when wet.
Her stylist Ben Cooke began by sectioning off the top and
front part of her hair and give the bottom an under cut to follow the shape of
her head, so it would be very tapered.
The top section was then sliced with thin scissors.
This style gives Victoria a super stylish looking cut
everyday but she barely ever has to touch it up, as it just naturally falls into
place.

Seen At - The Elle Style Awards in February 2011
Color - Mid-brown with lots of lighter golden brown
highlights
This event was just one day after the Bafta's look, below,
so is the exact same cut but with a very different look.
If your hair is
straight, you can style it like this by wetting with
water or a gel for the slick-ness, combing and creating a side-parting to style.
For hair that's a little more unruly, first blow-dry,
using a frizz-ease product, then follow the above steps to get Emma's fab look.

The
Look - Versatile CropColor - Black with a honey blonde long layer
Take a pic of this cut to your hairdresser to show them
exactly what you want.
The style is short on the sides but this is no boring
crop; the long length at the top can be curled, quiffed, slicked back and
worn a variety of ways.
To style into Rihanna's sleek look (right), work a little
pomade into the roots and along to the ends.
For the curly style, seen at the 2010 Grammy Awards, use a
medium-barreled curling iron and wrap up sections (about the width of two
fingers) going right to the roots.
To ensure long hold, let the curls set once created, then
release them and finish the look with a burst of hairspray.
