Dianna Agron Hair Style Guides

Dianna's Hair Profile

Face Shape - Oval/Heart

Colours been - Blonde, Golden Blonde, Pink

Seen At - The 2012 SAG Awards

Difficulty - Very hard, Dianna's up-do also has fishtail braids at the back so would most definitely need someone else's help unless you decide to just go for a bun at the back.

Dianna's fab SAG up-do was created by hairstylist Adir Abergel who began by applying Fekkai Glossing Cream from the roots to the ends of Dianna's hair while it was wet.

He rough-dried the hair with his hand to create natural-looking texture then once completely dry he sprayed on Fekkai Coiff Oceanique Tousled Wave Spray throughout, rough-drying it in with the hands also.

Starting to create the up-do, Adir took a section of hair from the top of the left ear and created a long fishtail braid.

He wrapped the braid around the front of the head for a crown-like look, leaving the hair underneath loose and undone.

Taking the rest of the hair, Adir created three more fishtail braids, twisting all three together at the back of the head and securing there with hairpins to complete Dianna's up-do. (As mentioned above, you can always just put the hair at the back into a bun for the same effect from the front.)

He finished with a good spray of Fekkai Sheer Hold Hairspray.

Seen - At the Glee 3D Concert Premiere in August 2011

Dianna's hairstylist prepped Dianna's hair with Kerastase Mousse Volume Active from root to tip and blow-dried without the use of a brush or hands for a more natural look.

If you need to, use a brush to get the bangs straight but use your hands to scrunch some texture into the rest of the hair.

Klorane Gentle Dry Shampoo was used to work some extra texture into the hair, and the look was finished with L'Oreal Elnett Hair Spray.

Seen - Dianna debuted her pink look in August 2011

Distancing herself from golden blonde Quinn, Dianna went vibrant pink.

If you fancy giving this look a go; blonde or bleached hair is a must - you won't be able to get such a vivid pink result with hair that's darker.

A shade such as Manic Panic's Cotton Candy Pink Hair Dye, should give you this gorgeous look.  You can pick how intense you want the color by watering down the dye to suit yourself.

Seen At - The 2011 Grammy Awards

For her edgy-glam awards look, Dianna had her hair styled by Frederic Fekkai stylist Adir Abergel.

While her hair was dry he applied Frederic Fekkai Coiff Strong Hold Hairspray to Dianna's roots and Smoothing Finishing Serum to the ends.  He then blow-dried with his hands to add volume and some natural-looking texture.

Using a 1 1/4 inch curling iron he curled her hair into pin-curls around the hairline and the crown of the head.

After leaving the curls to set, the pins were removed and the curls were backcombed, giving Dianna lots of body at the top.

Leaving the top loose, Dianna's hair was then pulled into a chignon at the back of her head.

Adir then used some Sheer Hold Hairspray to give the style hold, and a little Fekkai Coiff Nonchalant Piecing & Forming Wax was used at the ends for some separation and texture.

Start by applying some volumising gel onto the roots after the hair has been washed.

Apply a little smoothing serum through the length and blow-dry using a large round brush to create some volume and movement.

Use a medium/large-sized curling iron or some hot rollers to create Dianna's curls - taking large sections of hair at a time, rather than smaller sections or you'll end up with a more permed, corkscrew curls look.

Let the curls cool and set, then brush through gently to smooth them out a little.

To create Dianna's half-up, half-down look, create a side parting and use a few pins, or something gorgeous and glam like Dianna's leaf clip, to take the section above the ears on each side up and back and keep it held in place.

To finish use a little more of your smoothing serum to take care of any frizzes or loose hairs.  Pull a few of the curled sections over your shoulders and finish with some hairspray.

To get Quinn Fabray's signature sweet braid look, first, create a side parting and, taking the front section from the bigger side, create a plait. Secure it with a thin elastic band.

Using some pins that are as close to your hair color as you can get, secure the plait around the side of your hair. You won't needed to pin it all the way, maybe just use two or three pins.

*In this pic, Quinn's hair is straight but she sometimes has curls at the bottom; you can create your own using a curling iron and taking it up to just about shoulder length for each section of hair.

Quinn's other signature - her Cheerios ponytail.

To get the look, apply some frizz-reducing mousse or serum to the top of your hair and the roots.

Brush your hair smooth and tug-free then pull into a high ponytail at the back of your head. Secure with a band of your choice.

Take sections of your ponytail, about four centimetres at a time, and use a curling iron to add just a little movement and bounce to the bottom.

Finish by gently running a brush through the pony to bring the curls together so your not left with ringlets. (Don't brush too hard as it might create some bumps at the roots.)
